I’m Jolie! I am a technology leader who works with data all day, with a background in Marketing and Art & Design. I bartended my way through college and love all things food & drink related! I am a wife, a mom of one amazing girl, two dogs and a cat. I started this site so I could share my experiences with others as I look for ways to reduce my alcohol, improve my ability to cope with stress, and live a healthier lifestyle without sacrificing delicious drinks!

My journey with alcohol-free beverages started when I was pregnant back in 2009. At that time, the options were pretty limited when it came to the near beer space, dismal when it came to alcohol-free wines, and sugary when it came to “mocktails”.

In August 2021, I decided to no longer drink alcohol while at home. During COVID, my end of evening glass of wine or bourbon was turning into two. It was a way to switch gears from “working” at home to “being” at home. I recognized that this was creating more stress and anxiety than it was helping over the long run.

At the time, most non-alcoholics had to be purchase online, and I spent a good deal of money on products that didn’t taste great. I started this as a way to share what I like and what I don’t so that others on a similar wellness journey can learn with an from me, and so I can learn from them as well.
