Leitz Eins Zwei Zero- Blanc de Blancs

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

The non-alcoholic beer market got me really excited about replacing alcohol, and now that I have, I’ve been searching for wine options that make me feel the same way. Leitz Eins Zwei Zero Blanc de Blancs struck my interest as it stood out amongst the sparkling options. Leitz Eins Zwei Zero wines are highly rated and readily available online.

Blanc de Blancs is fresh, crisp, citrusy and slightly tropical and reflective of it’s stainless steel vinification. It’s fantastic for Sauvignon Blanc/Pinot Blanc drinkers and would be extremely refreshing in summer. The Eins Zwei Zero Blanc de Blancs would be a great selection to serve with a meal, as it’s very light. On Christmas Eve, my family does a Feast of Seven fishes, where we have salted cod with an herb-filled butter caper sauce and homemade Fettuccine al Burro, and this would be the perfect wine to pair with that meal.

While it’s meant to be a still wine, it does have a slight carbonation, which isn’t uncommon. I put the lid on, gave the bottle a shake, and my glass the following night was perfect. You could also aerate it if you are fancy.

Overall, I highly recommend this wine and would absolutely repurchase. A standard bottle cost $18. You can view my other non-alcoholic wine reviews here.
