I’m a pretty tough grader. For Bitter For Worse’s Eva’s Spritz is off the charts for me. It’s tough to describe the flavor, but let me try my best.

If you like an Aperol or Campari spritz, you’ll probably like this. However the flavor is distinctly it’s own. It’s not mimicking a cocktail. And it doesn’t need to. It tastes like it could be a cocktail of it’s own kind without having any booze. It isn’t as bitter as Aperol or Campari, nor is it as sweet. It’s complex, citrusy, fresh and just bitter enough. The distinct flavor combination comes from Rhubarb, Sweet Orange peel, Gentian Root, and Hibiscus.

Of the three For Bitter For Worse flavors I tried, this one is definitely my favorite. My second favorite was The Saskatoon, and I didn’t personally care for the Smoky No. 56 as much. I will be buying Eva’s Spritz again and again.
