Two Roots Dark Cookies Milk Stout

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

I was SO EXCITED to try this and so confident that I’d love it that I ordered three 6-packs right off the rip. Two Roots is my favorite N/A brand and I am desperately hoping they open a N/A tasting room in Michigan, where they do some production.

One of my favorite regular beers is Rochester Mills Milkshake Stout, which is coincidentally (or not) the production facility that Two Roots purchased. I received my shipment around noon on a snowy Monday and found 18 perfectly chilled beers inside. I cracked one open immediately (best part of drinking N/As).

DAMN, it is GOOD. It’s not overly sweet. The cacao nibs, butterscotch and coffee flavors come through subtly at the end. It has a rich body that I’ve found hard to find in N/As, without being overly heavy. It does lack the warmth of alcohol that the Milkshake Stout presents, but that can only be expected. It’s downright delicious and I’m so glad I ordered more than one six-pack, as I’ll be enjoying these all winter and bringing them along to holiday parties.

A 12oz can of Dark Cookies Milk Stout contains 125 calories and 30 carbs.

Check out my other review on Two Roots New West Hazy IPA, I recommend picking up that and their Straight Dank IPA if you are placing an order!
