All About Straws

If there’s one thing I want in a mocktail, it’s a straw. There’s something about drinking from a straw that makes it feel like a “real” drink, plus I have terrible eye hand coordination, so straws ensure I don’t miss getting the drink into my mouth and end up with it all over my shirt.

Lately, I’m trying to make Pachamama proud without having to tolerate a cardboard straw progressively wilting away in my drink. Being able to clean it is a must. Here are some great options for your mocktail that don’t break the budget:

Reusable Stainless Steel Straw Set- They look elegant and are no-frills. I like how some are bent and some aren’t.

HALM Glass Cocktail Straws- Glass-based means I can tell that it’s clean, which is perfect for my mild straw-oriented OCD. And there are times when you just need a short straw! This brand makes other lengths as well.

200-Pack Compostable Straw: If you have a local composting service, I highly recommend these compostable straws. They have a “real straw” feel and the satisfying click of a bendable neck.

Collapsible Straws for On-The-Go: I love that these have collapsible cleaning brushes included, and if it has a carabiner, I’m sold.

Color-Changing Silicone Straws: What is more fun than having your straw change color as you drink? These straws make me want to put on a hypercolor t-shirt and listen to Paula Abdul.
